I'm not complaining b/c we certainly needed it, but we are approaching flood limits. About 2" fell yesterday and a light steady rain has fallen all day so far (heavier at times). And they are calling for another 2" by tomorrow (hence the flooding possibilities). But we'll take it. I just hope a significant amount is htting the water shed. The aquifer needs it.

We have had some nice rain for sure! We could, however, use a LOT more. I believe here in sout east Hays County, we have had less than 5" this entire year. We usually have 30"+ per year. We are WAY behind. Tons of my trees are dying as you saw at the get together. My contact at the Texas Forrest Service says that my particular portion of the county is the driest in all of Central Texas and is in the worst drought in Texas History.
