Celtic in B&W Ebony

Here's another I finished this week. It's the new Celtic from PSI dressed up in Black & White Ebony I found @ my local wood supply house when I was getting some new CA.

Really nice kit, good fit, I am not sure if its the photo, or did you have any issues with the finish at the base of the pen?

Sean - Good catch. I was parting off the blank from the bushing using the point of a skew. Slightly off and put a wee score line there. It's actually quite a bit less pronounced on the pen than in the pic. Gotta be careful doing that!

Did you carve the pattern details out yourself? That's a great looking pen! The background color seems like didn't go well on the pen. But you still did a good job!

The black & white ebony blank is amazing. The celtic pen is a great fit with the blank. Great fit and finish.

Frank - No, it's a kit pen from PSI. The finish on the metal is "antique brass". I kind of like it.
