has anyone used a Liberty or Desire pen kit from Lazerlinez to make a watch part pen? I've search and haven't been able to find an example.

I'm planing on powder coating the tubes, and, not use carbon fiber as a back ground, but wanted to check if there were any other issues to be aware of.

thanks

Darin,

I have used both. You actually a little more "meat" thickness to work with. Just remember on the 2 piece kit the the bottom tube is a little longer the a Jr. when casting. I use a sierra mold when casting the bottom tube. Heres on I done a few weeks ago.

Love that pen Kent! Great Steampunk all the way through. Are you using Alumilite or PR? If it's PR, is it Silmar 41?
