Well, I finally did it. Wasn't paying attention or got distracted and wound up pouring two 'A' side amounts into my mixing cup, poured the prefect color into my mold along with a beautiful piece of Osage Orange, ala Curtis' wasted wood.

Imagine my surprise when I pulled the mold out of the pressure pot and it ran all over my hands. Got the place cleaned up, but is my wood trashed? I'm sure there's some 'A' side resin pushed into the wood pores. If I try to use this piece again, will it cure? Using Alumilite.

TIA
Jake

:eek: Jake: You may not have any problem recasting your blank. The key words "May not." Part A has no chemical reaction without part B. Once properly mixed and poured, part B will cure any Part A that soaked into the pores of your wood. Jim S

There is probably so little of the "A" side left on the wood that it won't make much difference. But, I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks, Gary
