Greg, the library is loaded with info on casting!! Lot of reading, if you get hung up, there are plenty here who will assit you! BTW, welcome from Athens, Texas!!:wink:
 
I'd start with buying some liquid acrylic resin of some kind. If you just want to try it out, you can get some from Michael's craft store, but it's pricey comparing to buying it in lrger quantities online. Like Rollerbob said, read the tutorials in the library section as well.

Yea Ed I am on my second gallon of PR and still havent got a blank thats nice. But I think Im getting closer. Made some worthless wood and PR last night Turning one tonight .

ROFL... Most honest answer yet! I have a box of "mistakes" mstly from my first gallon. And now that i have made and use my $50 mold, i realize i need something better. It NEVER ENDS!
