Can't see pics

When viewing some sites, e.g. PSI, I can see many pictures and a lot of squares with a red x. Anybody any idea what the problem is? Is it mine or something about the way it has been posted?

Here's one thing you can try:

The "Show Pictures" setting may be turned off in Internet Explorer.
Go to Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Advanced tab. Make sure the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia, and click OK.

Do you have a script blocker or protector? I have to set the sites I want to allow through mine.

I checked the internet settings and I do have it ticked to 'show pictures' I also have some security blocking but if I reduce it I will end up with too many ads.

The weird thing is that I can have two pictures side by side and one will show the image on the other will not.
