Can I stir the pot up again, with this beautiful Canadian Quarter that is a Veteran's remembrance coin. More info here:

These things are made of Steel and have a clad outer coating on both sides. Very different from the way we make our coins, at least on this particular coin anyway. I hope the receiver of this blank likes the added bonus that I threw in! I'm not telling what that is, but if he see's it on here, I will let him announce it. Thank you all for looking!

Looks pretty sweet! Canadians have some very nice coins. I always like the beaver on the nickles..but that might just be cause I'm a guy and I never grow up!

LMAO! Thats a good one Jeff! I think I might be the same way, obviously, I laughed at it!

Thanks for the compliments ALL! I think I have to agree, the design and layout really turned out well.

Very striking. Bruce, I agree: the Texas quarter was great, but this one is even better.

Now we all know the Texas quarter was best. This one is really good, but the Texas one was still best. Being from Texas, I am not biased or anything like that.

Two Canadian Mounties just left my house. They were looking for the guy in Wichita Falls mutilating Canadian coins. Remember, they always get their man. I told them nothing.:biggrin:

Another nice job with your scroll saw and casting. Maybe I will get to see it in person before they haul you off...Remember, they always get their man.

Do a good turn daily!
Don

That beauty nearly makes me want to move way north, nearly, Nah. Burrrrrr. Much too cold for this Southern boy. That is one very beautiful blank. Congratulations.

Naa i am kidding I'll take a royality.. hehe Have fun everyone and keep seamus busiy making them. I have a contact at the Canadian MINT interested in stocking there gift shop. Maybe you can grab one there some day soon.

I really like the outcome of the pen Greg, however, I wonder if you took it on a black background if it would show up better with less distractions from the burl?!
