I've done a couple casts, and tried a mold or two, so I would now like to take a look at setting up a vacuum/pressure pot. Yes, I know that there are a lot of good ideas for casting that don't require one, but I would at least like to check into it.

Does anyone know of a Canadian supplier for a pot similar to the HF pot frequently mentioned here, and at a similar price point, rather than all the $250+ pots that I've managed to locate.

Thanks,
Dale

I have seen at Princess Auto, when they have them on sale I think they price them at $79.00

Pat

This is where I got mine from and did the modifications to it as per the tutorial in the library. It works great and I have done lots of casts in it.
I see you are from Surrey, there is a Prince/Auto across the freeway from Ikea.

Lin.

Thanks for the replies.

I've been through Princess Auto a couple times but never saw any; must have been a timing thing.

Just got off the phone with the local store. Yes, they do carry them, but they are currently out of stock; it will be at least a few weeks until they have any in. They provided the stock number; here's a link.

I can't find anything on the Sears site, so I may call them directly as well.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

Maybe they were just clearing them out from Sears when I got mine. The model number is 919.711000 when you call them. They call it a Craftsman paint tank but I couldn't find it online in a search either but that is where I got it.

Just checked the tank itself and it says the model number is 09 71100
