Can You Drill HSS?

Can you drill HHS? I have some flat pieces that are 3?4 x 6" and would like to attach a handle to use as a parting tool on the small spindle stuff. What kind of drill bit would you use?

Yes you can.
Use a carbide drill. It won't be super easy but it is do-able.
Keep your RPM's low and use some cutting oil.And patience.
