Dawn,(WinPooh) I missed the Chicago photo thread. Hmmmm, let me think at work with my gov't computer that won't let me on this site and I'll get you another idea for Lou's new name. Oh wow, a separate thread for everyone to name Lou!! Do I smell a contest!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!!

I got a few names we could call him [}:)] ;) [8D]

This is one case where "What you see" is NOT "What you get" when you get to know Lou.

He is a walking encyclopedia, and correct (usually). Especially when "discussing" with Eagle at 100 decibels each!!! I really enjoy their company.

Changing his name is absurd! That would be an insult to Lou. Ed is right, what you see is not what you get. Actually you would have to go to his before photo to be able to fit his heart in his body.

The screen name question comes up fairly often, since it has nothing to do with pens or pen making. I'll try not to bore you with the background.

I have been playing guitar, using the word playing in the loosest form possible, for over 40 years. I started playing folk music in the early 60s, then moved to rock 'n roll when the Beatles hit big. When I first heard the Animals and the Rolling Stones, I became enthralled by blues, particularly Delta blues. I played with several small time bands in the 60s and have sat in with a few name players over the past 40 years. My love for both listening and playing the blues has never wavered. The DC part comes from the fact that I was not born in a state, but in the District of Columbia.

For the record, it's nice to have friends offer kind words about me, but remember that I had a weekend to bribe them! [8D]

I have a picture posted in the what do you look like thread. But I do have a winnie the pooh tatoo! Does that count????:D

The comment about Winnie The Pooh reminds me of an old story from around 1985??

Two staff people in our office were having a friendly feud....

This was before security badges. We had badges, but just for ID. When going out to lunch, it was custom to lay badge on desk... "I'll be back" kind of thing. Charlie came back from lunch picked up his barge, and proceeded to interview job applicants all afternoon. Just as he was going to leave for the day, He removed his badge.... Someone had pasted a picture of Winnie the Pooh over his photo...

:D:D:D

Yep; We are highly professional and throughly serious about our jobs....
