My first cactus blank...these things are cool, I wish the kits werent so expensive....seems like we are kinda getting screwed on the price..not much more plating/components than the statesman...

Great looking pen. I know what you mean about the venus. I can't imagine they sell that many of them compared to other high end kits they had in the past.
