I want to put foil type labels on tubes from manufactured product. I use CA to glue them on.
Is it safe then to cast in acrylic?
Not sure because of the heat generated in the casting process and fact that CA is flammable.

Polyester Resin or Alumilite are the two resins I'm familiar with. People use c.a.glue to glue and seal embedded things all the time with the two I just mentioned. I was also told by a p.r. manufacturer that I could use a clear acrylic spray to seal pictures with the p.r. The only thing you need to do is give the c.a. a few days to "Out Gas" before casting. I'm not sure about what resin you're wanting to use but I hope this helps.
