Hey Everyone !! The question I have is, what is the CA accelarator made mostly of. Since I was working on a project late a t night. I was thinking if a mist of rubbing alcohol would work in a pinch for faster curing.:D

Has anyone done this or know of any substitutes to get by on snall cures?

Thanks,
Ray K.

The fastest accelerator I've tried is baking soda...that said, "fast" usually results in crackly/hazzy/bubbly CA.

Most accelerators are acetone based as far as I know.

check this out:

Acetone alone is used as de-bonder.

I don't know if rubbing alcohol would work, but I have tested the spray my wife uses to dry her fingernails quickly - didn't work.
Lately, I have used a lot of the spray accelerator and I like it better that the liquid spritzes.
