Travis,
There are a lot of vendors, but you'll probably find the best ones right here. In no particular order.

Big Rob for most anything
Nolan for some of the best burls
Randbcrafts for Trustone
PR princess for snakeskins
Ed4copies for imported plastics
And more.

have a look in the classifieds sections. You may even want to post some of that River Crib wood up in a trade and see what you get offered. Probably half of what I have came from trades.

Let us know what you're looking for and if no one has it, we can probably find it. We've got one of the best wood networks in the world here I think.

On e-Bay , some guy who goes by the name Lulanrt is one of the best suppliers . And occasionally , he has some good stuff that he doesn`t know he has . What specifically , are you looking for ? Wayne

No need for anyone to be alarmed or confused. All Wayne means is that Lulanrt sells some dang nice blanks on ebay ..... but, they're native West Virginia wood. Right, Wayne?

And, it appears that our new friend Lulanrt is looking to expand his collection. Right guys?

Hey Lulanrt ... welcome to IAP!

Someone will have to help me out here. I checked "lulanrt" on ebay and I get no results. I thought maybe there was a joke or slick comment that was going over my head (not hard to accomplish).

lulanrt.....welcome to the madness..........

Hi all,
Just to clear things up I sell on ebay to support my "habit". My habit is obsessively finding unique woods and cutting them into pen blanks. I have a collection and I have got the native woods covered and I am looking to expand. I do turn a lot of pens but I am not very good at it yet. I turn for friends and family as gifts. I am hoping to learn something from everyone here at AIP. I do not want you guys to think that I am here just to sell pen blanks. Thanks for the info
Travis

What are you looking for? I've got thousands of blanks, just haven't invested much time lately to selling. About to get geared up again with the Midwest Penturning Gathering just around the corner.

Travis,
At our Ohio meeting in January (I hope you can come) we will be having a blank swap. Basically everyone brings in blanks to trade in the hope of going home with something different. I got some amazing blanks at our last meeting. I have a sneaking feeling that WV and OH have very similar woods. Wood Werks, where the meeting is held, has a very large selection of both pen blanks and larger stock to look at, but they do close early on Saturdays. Charlie, vangaspens on the forum, keeps the pen blanks well stocked. Hope to see ya there.
