what is the best way to clean bushings ?
I use CA, and some times Lacquer

Sorry I mean getting the ca & lacquer off the bushings????

I'm not sure this is the best way, but I usually end up using my skew. Then I sharpen my skew.

Soak them in acetone.

You know.. I take my pens off the lathe and slip the milling sleeve into the pen, then I finish them without bushings. This keeps them from sticking and chipping. 7mm pens get spacer tubes made from cuto down tube.

Tom, I only have stock bushings for slimlines, and just scrape it off with a knife the next time I use them. For my other pens I have made my own conical bushes out of brass, I scrape them too.
