I started a thread about poison ivy (oak by the way) and many mentioned about troubles with burning it in brush piles and reminded of a story.
About 16 years ago my son played pee wee baseball in a small town here. Seems that this one day when they were having a ball game was the perfect time for the County Sheriff to burn the stash they just raided that week. The incinerator is a half a block away from the ball field or right next to the elementary school. No one thought anything about it till the kids started having a hard time staying focused on what they were supposed to be doing. After about 45 minutes we called the game and everyone left, but nobody couldve passed a drug test that day.
Just goes to show not everyone is as bright as they should be. Or did the city planers plan the incinerator like that on purpose? By the way last I looked it was still there.
