I am not a happy bunny. There was I working away quite happily sanding the finishing touches to a Desrt Ironwood Euro. Heard a little pop and the lathe stopped turning. Pushed the button and the lathe started but wouldnt stay running unless I kept my finger on the button. So CA glue in one hand, Paper towel in the other and trying to hold in the button to keep the lathe turning. Not Easy. DOH
Had this before with my previous lathe and it was the no load switch that had to be replaced. At least its under warranty
So thats me snookered(technical term) until I can contact the company and have a new switch sent over
I dont think I can be bothered digging out my old cheepo lathe and start using that in the meantime. Ah well, wheres my Xbox, I gotta go kill some aliens
