Bullet Bowl (finished)
I couldn't finish the bottom last night (turn off the tenon) so here it is with a cloudy day photo(s). I've had that spiraling tool for 12 years and forgot about it in a move or two. What do you think? Is this something I should incorporate into my bowls?

Very nice Walnut Bowl. What are the dimensions and what did you finish it with? Why is it called a bullet bowl? I just saw your previous post, now I know why its the bullet bowl.
FWIW, the spiral is not my thing but if you were to incorporate it into a signature item then it would be something anyone that knew would know it was you.

That's beautiful. I really like the spiral pattern on it. I remember seeing a youtube video where someone was doing a similar pattern with a method called chatter (IIRC), where a piece of thinner metal was used and allowed to kind of flop (for lack of a better word) creating a pattern where it was bouncing off the wood. I'll have to go look for that again now.
