For the people that polish their pens or would like to try it.

I have an oppertunity to get some high quality compounds in a small quantity. Just wanted to see if there was any interest before I get it all.

It would be a sample size of three compounds. It is a tripoli, plastic rouge, and a dry white rouge. Anyone should be able to get a glass finish with these. I sanded with only 220 grit dry then straight to the compounds with the glass finish as a result. You might want to add a few grits before the compound, or try it to see for yourself, but it wasn't needed in my tests.
It would probably be around $20 shipped in the Con.US. If there is enough interest, I'll get the sizes and a pic of what it is.

If you are going to 12,000 with the MM then to white rouge, you are going backwards. You only need to go to 400 - 600 grit wet, then to the WR. If you have any doubts, just give it a try.

I don't have a pen, but I have a couple barrels. I'll try to get a decent pic of them for you.

Sorry, I've been really busy. The Beall system uses tripoli, white rouge and carnuba wax. These are compounds specific to plastics and vulcanized rubbers, but work very well with other materials as well. The dry WR has a color rating of 9 out of 10 and a cut rating of 1. So it shines up real nice.

I have these posted on several forums and it looks like it's almost gone. The car guy's like it, I guess.
I can get more and will if the demand continues, just doesn't seem that it is here.
 
It's all gone. Just sold the last of it. :eek:

For those that got some... you will really like it, so let me know if you need more. I will probably be getting some more.

For those that missed out... maybe someone will post their results and opinion on it. If not, I guess you will just have to keep wondering...:tongue:
