OK our blanks turned out much more brittle than the other two I have turned. Were the other blanks really nice or did we go over board with the cataylst? I'm guessing we were around 6-7 drops per once. Next time were going to messure and actually write stuff down.

You are far north of normal. Here usually 3 or so drops per oz gives a good blank. 6 or 7 may be a bit hot, not sure. I have been told that too much MEKP will make them more brittle.

Victor you ever spend time in West Branch Michigan?

Had a freind who lived in Warren that wanted to work towards improving the environment through recycling. His name was Victor, he would have really dug "Land fill lumber". His folks had a cabin on the lake I spent a good part of my childhood fishing......
