Twice I tried and failed to get Brass to adhere to Acrylic. I used medium CA and then tried 2 part epoxy and had failures to adhere in both case. ( 24 hour curing). I did rough up the brass, both side prior to glueing. Now, when I have used brass with wood I have not had a problem. Any suggestions? Thanks...........Jan

Some metal comes with lube residue on the surfaces, brass, copper, aluminum,... from being milled. Sometimes the metal will adhere to a porous surface, possibly due to the larger surface, while not holding well to a smooth one. Try cleaning the brass with a solvent after sanding just before applying the glue. This works for me, of course YMMV.
