A little history, I went to Spann Elementary in Pueblo CO. The school is now closed and abandoned in very bad condition. Anyways as I was walking around the school I seen a branch and brought it back home and this is what I made for my sister who also went there.

She will love the pen. Good idea to preserve the memory in some way. It's a shame that that the school couldn't have been used for something else as a community center, health care facility, etc. An old rural school was used as a hog shelter! Torn down years ago.
