Hello: Don't post often, mostly read and learn.
I need some advice on wine stoppers.
Where can I find instructions for them??
I have plenty of wood and corian.
Been thinking of the :T: handle type with the stopper that screws on to the cork puller.
I hope I have made myself clear?? If not sock it to me. thanks, mikem

MikeM, I have made quite a few of thoses. Easy to make, Customers love them, but their quality is poor. I have had a lot of problems with the threads connecting the stopper to the puller. Many of them are rough and some don't thread all the way in. I have also had one come back with the corkscrew striped out of the handle.

David: Thanks for the heads/up. Being a retired machinst i think I can redo the threads if needed.
I will be using my mini-metal lathe, so it's no big deal. thanks again. mikem

I wonder sometimes if the people who designed those stoppers with the corkscrew ever tried actually opening a bottle of wine with one. I've never seen anyone pull a cork with a corkscrew that did not have some kind of lever or other mechanical advantage. Anyone use these?
