Hello everyone,
This is a commissioned pen with stone texture. The texture is made with dry urushi lacquer applied on a fresh urushi layer, cured and covered with several layers.
There is a roll stop on the cap, raised layer by layer with dry lacquer powder and normal urushi.
I provided a pen rest with the same texture.
The process took 3 months.

. The texturing is wonderful, I bet it feels nice in your hand. Not a real fan of the color and plain appearance, but I truly admire your work. Great skills.
