I was making this pen for a client and despite a very sharp gouge, I experienced a blow-out toward end. I was about to chuck-it. Anyway, found a rosewood cut off and, squared it all of, and made this. I liked it to much too much to give away LOL...so I am using it.

8 coats of medium Mercury (ran out of thin), with some off-brand paper towel, and BSI accerlator in a sure shot pressurized atomizer. I want to take a break from glueboost and use it my Mercury CA.

I am very happy with it.

Tony:
This is a difficult lt decison to make, one band or adding band at both ends.
This pen looks to be bottom heavy, which makes it out of balance
Just my two dollars worth.

Thank you. If I had more patience, I should have added a band on top....I am very happy with it though. Thanks for all the feedback and advice!

Great save. No need for a top band. Looks like you designed it to have the bottom end made to grip with.
