Using Liquid Diamonds and I am looking for a dye that is the richest black possible to mix with this resin. Suggestions and where to get it and is there a ratio to follow?? Thanks.

I have no clue if this will work with resins, but leather workers that want a deep black dyed leather first dye the leather with a blue dye, then dye it black. I would try adding a little blue dye with the black dye and see what happens.

John,

Unless, you need some degree of transparency, you can't get any purer black than carbon black pigment. The only downside might be that given the long setup time for the epoxy, the pigment might have a tendency to settle out.

Carbon black wont settle very much at all. it is usually very light.
