Black-white-black Stripe Pickguard Ligero

Eight segments/wedges of curly maple sandwiched between black-white-black pickguard. The pen kit is chome ligero.

I used the same wiping-on lengthwise finishing method using Wood Turner Finish (10 coats) as in this post (http://www.penturners.org/forum/f179/white-stripe-styrene-jr-gent-pro-v1-112735/)

I don't get much shop time. I get 1/2 an hour here and there, in the evening/weekend. Elapsed time 1 month because the last pen I completed/posted was on July 17 (http://www.penturners.org/forum/f179/white-stripe-styrene-jr-gent-pro-v1-112735/).

I am guessing ... total time = making the blank + turning the pen + assembling the pen = 5 + 2 + 1 = 8 hours.

The assembling namely aligning the pickguard in the closed position took 3 tries.
