Black and White Segments

Hello Everyone
I've had a few question on how I did my black and white segment pen, so I though I would post a picture or two no how it was done. I cut the blanks on my miter saw with it set at 45 deg. to the right ( this gave me room to work) I made the first cut the flipped the blank 90 deg. and cut the again with the blade at the top edge of the first this gave me a small triangle. Then it was just a matter of gluing it up. If anyone has any questions you can PM or email me at scrollnut@cox.net

What glue did you use? Was there a reason you did not use a wood glue like Titebond?

I thought I had said I used CA glue since there is no easy way to clamp the parts while the glue set with something other then CA.
