Whatever you do, do not cancel a USPS shipping label through paypal. The post office can take up to 15 days to make a decision as to if they will refund your money. They could arbitrarily decide not to refund your money as well.

This really wasn't explained very well anywhere I could find before I cancelled a $25 international label because it wasn't printing for some reason on my computer. They also don't tell you what the criteria for refunds are, only that it's up to USPS to decide if I get a refund or not.

So far it's been 6 business days since I cancelled it and I haven't heard one thing one way or the other.

Just thought I'd give a heads up to those who might not know out there. Thankfully $25 isn't going to make or break me yet, but it's still irksome that it wasn't clearly spelled out before you cancelled what the terms are.

Justin, USPS waits a bit to confirm that the postage wasn't used before refunding. Otherwise, people would scam them.

Be patient my friend. I've done it numerous times and they have always refunded after about a week.

Try having to cancel International postage twice. Better have a bit of extra change in there for that. I have had to cancel labels quite often due to a less than reliable printer. It has always been refunded.

Hit the nail on the head. Don't worry about it. It will be refunded.
