Many of you have stepped up and donated some great prizes for the upcoming Birthday Bash. They are greatly appreciated and will make for some lucky winners.

We still need some more prizes. Andrew (Maxwell Smart007) is doing great work contacting vendors, but would appreciate some help from the membership.

If you have a prize you can donate for the Birthday Bash, please contact Andrew through the forum PM system. Naturally, all donors will be given credit for their donations when the prize is won.

Hmmmmm ... this reminds me of the prize I tried donating last year ... but nobody would accept it. It was a pair of season tickets to the LSU football games. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Thanks in advance to everyone that donates. If you'd like to help out, just send me a PM indicating what you'd like to donate (i.e. box of pen blanks, envelope of blanks, 1974 MGB GT V8 in British Racing Green, etc.)

I'll record your donations, and we'll give them out in February during the biggest, most lavish penturning soiree you've ever seen. I hear that Docstram will even be dancing live on camera (and anyone that doesn't participate in the birthday bash will be forced to watch!)

Your donation will be sent out (by you) in February. What we're doing now is taking pledges for donations, assigning those to contests, and then when the winner is chosen, you'll be sent his/her address...you then send your prize to that person directly.

So for right now, all you need to tell me is roughly what you're donating (i.e. Box of Blanks, etc.) so that I can record it and we'll assign it to a contest.
 
I'm learning more here in the last 3 months than I have in the last 3 years! So I think it would be kinda cheesy and cheap to sit by and not help. I have hundreds, if not thousands, of very lovely pen blanks. Put me down for a dozen.

I'll even let the lucky winner make requests, and I likely have them!

I'm very grateful to you folks, and am happy to be able to give back a tiny bit.

I have a box of black walnut in blank size lengths...and longer. Not sure if too many people have more black walnut than they need....if you think this is the case I will just keep them.
