Best Prices for Pen Kits & Acrylic Blanks

I am still new to this hobby/craft and not sure of where to get the best price on Pen Kits & Acrylic Blanks.

I want to buy around 100 at a time.

Hey Rhino,

Go to the top of this page and move your mouse over the "Extras" tab, click on member sumitted links, then select under Vendors the Penturning supplies and the vendors are rated with stars.

Craft Supplies kits are sold only by Craft Supplies (CSUSA)

Berea kits are sold by Berea Hardwoods, Arizona Silhouette and Beartooth Woods

Penn State Industries (PSI) sells its own kits and most other domestic vendors sell the PSI kits as well.

Most, if not all, have prices listed with quantity discounts for kits and blanks. The kits and platings vary widely between the three suppliers and their resellers and prices vary as well. There are MANY different kinds of acrylic blanks and the sizes and prices vary.

I'm not ducking your question, just explaining there are many options and variations. Are you looking for a specific pen kit, in a certain plating? What kind acrylic blanks are you looking for? Check out those suppliers and then ask more specific questions and people will share their opinions.

You might want to check our classifieds and look for Ed4copies,he has many acrylics and his wife the PR princess will and can make just about any color your looking for. This was a paid advertisment. Did I do good Ed? All joking aside he has some WOW acrylics he gets from overseas.

Craft Supplies also sells Berea kits. If you look at their catalog, then at the Berea website, you will see that some of the pictures in the catalog are supplied by Berea. Someone on another forum was in the Berea warehouse one day and saw boxes of Berea's kits marked for CSUSA, AZ, BW, and some others. Berea kits are also sold by Woodworker's Supply.

Don't forget acrylics and kits from Wood'n'Whimsies. Great prices, great service.

Woodturningz also sells most of PSI's stuff, at a discount.
