I was going to say that the most eye catching commercially available
blank I've seen is the 'molten metal' .. but it looks much like the first
blank on Lou's page.. only not quite as nice

I agree with Lou on those 3 and would add that Tru-Stone blanks are totally awesome . My favorites are the Lapis , the Black and gold and the White Turquoise .
My favorite acrylic blanks are the crushed velvets , the Black (silver) and the Red . Too bad they are not available any more .

Here are three of the finest I've seen anywhere.

Well, Lou, now that you've got everyone drooling, Dawn has none of them in stock! Maybe if she gets a hundred emails...

They are really nice, I need to try some. My "swirling" talents are as yet completely undeveloped.

This is orange celluloid from CSUSA. It looks like it would take batteries the orange has a florecent glow to it. I didnt paint the blanks I didnt even know I was supposed to. I think CSUSA sell a plastic tube for these that makes them even brighter thats what I recommend. If you use brass remember to paint them or you will be able to see the tube through the blank.

I think you have to throw in the Sheaffer blanks as well. All their colors are first rate and in particular this one. This is one of those materials you need to see in person to appreciate it.
