Several months ago I bought 4 of the tropical blank coconut shell EL Grande kits that Berea hardwoods sells (I did not buy these kits from them but from a reseller) between me and my wife only 2 turned out we managed to each blow out a set of blanks. I finally got some EL Grande replacement tubes and set up some blanks to use those kits. After turning the first set of new blanks we went to assemble the pen and that’s when I realized that the tubes were the wrong size. So after a lot of head scratching and a few comments I realized that the tropical kits require a different size tube. I knew that they required different bushings but I thought it was just for the thickness of the material not because the tubes were a different size from the regular EL Grande kits. So I called Berea to see if they had that size of replacement tubes or if I could buy just the coconut blanks without the kits. unfortunately all the tropical blanks they had were with kits so I would have to buy the whole kit and they don’t have just replacement tubes to fit that kit either. Basically I had 2 kits that I was going to have to figure out how to make without any tubes. They said don't worry they would send me 2 sets of coconut blanks free of charge!!!!! WOW That blew my mind they were so nice through the whole conversation and I learned a lot about the company and what they do and how they make and design their pen kits. They will definetly be getting a lot more business from me:D

I have always thought Berea was a reputable company and put out quality products. Glad to know they stand behind them too.
