This mini review of Berea Hardwoods is from my First ever purchase.

This purchase was from the multiple messages of the El Grande Kit being on sale here in the forum.
Purchase was made on a Friday. I Ordered 4 kits, bushings, and Drill bits.
I received my order (Requested Priority Mailing) on Wednesday. upon Opening I made sure at least everything was there, I just didn't notice that one of the Drill bits was NOT the right size. Fast forward to a week later, was when I found that one of the drill bits was NOT the right one...
I first emailed on a Friday, then called and explained the issue.
Two days later I had the correct bit.

Even though this may seem not a positive review, I find that I will patronize Berea Hardwoods again.

Now wait are you going to Patronize them by being a continued customer or Patronize them with condescension.

lol I'm just kidding.

Heard good things about them. I should consider ordering from them sometime.

Everybody makes mistakes occasionally. The measure of good customer service is not zero mistakes, but how a company handles the ones that happen. It sounds like Berea handled this one pretty well.

Regards,
Eric

I am just curious but don't we have Berea reseller vendors that can save us a little more money? I have not purchased a lot of supplies lately and have ordered from Berea a few years back and had great customer service. Some of our vendors can ship faster in my case when I get in a last minute bind.

I get great service for Berea Hardwoods. Always fast shipping and great communications. This is one of those places that has always had product in my hand in 3 days (order on Monday, it arrives on Wednesday).

They once sent me a wrong drill bit, so I thought! I was reading the online sizes...so I called them to tell them of the error. They told me to look at the instructions sent with the pens. The on-line instructions were wrong. They had enough experience to send the right bit, make the insturctions and make a note that the had substitued the right bit that this kit required.

NOW, That is what I consider customer service! Even if I was too stupid to read that they had corrected the error before shipping.

Moral of this story... Check the drill bit before returning it.
