This is one of my latest attempts at pouring my own blanks. I poured a batch of 4 of them and here is the first one turned. I have another blank laying next to it to compare how they came out of the mold. When they first came out I think the disappointment on my face was evident, it sure did change as I started turning. I turned a finial and took the 2 bands off of the cap. I reverse painted the blanks white, I think the next one will get black. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.

Can you put it on a black background. Its hard to tell what the actual color is like with the blue cast to everything in the pic.

It looks like you have a color balance issue (using an incandescent color setting in an outdoor lighting environment?). Is everything really that blue?

sorry my camera setting had been changed. I am a touch colorblind so I miss it sometimes.

If the white spots in there were clear spots in the blank, try midnight blue instead of black for the next one.

Nah it has some white mixed in there for good measure. I will try different colors as I try the next one.
