I should have taken some photography classes before trying my hand at penturning.
Just completed work on four of the Beaufort Ink models. I found the quality of the materials to be quite good and I particularly enjoyed the ease of assembly.
My complaint with myself is that I chose the chrome plating for the Solano model, top one in the photo. Too slippery for anything aside from a death grip. I consider that plating to be impractical on that particular grip profile. The gunmetal platings, although on a somewhat similar profile, are not slippery. And the knurled chrome on the Headwind provides a perfect hold.
