I made my first order from Bear Tooth Woods today, and would like to give a shout out to Ernie for his awesome customer service. I was a bonehead and didn't check my Billing address when making my order, thus my order wasn't processing correctly and I was getting a "Credit Card Denied" problem.

I called up Bear Tooth Woods expecting to speak with a sales agent, and instead reached Ernie. He told me he gets this every so often and immediately told me to check my Billing address.

Further, he took the time and answered a lot of my questions regarding the kits I ordered, the acrylic blanks I ordered, the difference between a couple of the blanks that he offers and some other stuff. I'm assuming he was on his cell phone at the time I called and certainly wouldn't expect this from the other places that I have ordered from.

So again Ernie, thank you for taking the time to help me out, and if anyone else is considering ordering from Bear Tooth Woods, I'd highly recommend it.

I've only ordered from Ernie once, and the service was fast and every thing was right, I don't know what else a person could ask for.
Except not getting your head bitten off or getting a nice shuffle from desk to desk and put on ignore as can happen in phone conversations with some vendors.
 
I ordered from Ernie after having a less than pleasant experience with BB from AS and I wanted to find an alternate vendor. Ernie was very helpful and got my order out very quick. Besides, his site is easier to order on since you can select multiple items in a single click.

Ernie is polite on the phone, has time to talk to customers and help solve any problems that arise, he takes on group buys and appreciates any orders that come his way large or small.

Heck he even answers emails outside business hours.

Does not have the "if you don`t like my terms then go and shop elsewhere attitude".

Guess he`ll get a lot of customers who used to shop elsewhere.

Another thing I have experienced with Ernie. If it shows on his site that something is out of stock, call him. I did this a time or two and the item had either just come in and he had not had time to update his site, or on another occasion, it was due to arrive in a day or so and I just had him ship it when it came in. Love the service, Love Ernie and as Nick stated, ERNIE FOR PRESIDENT!
 
Mr. Baumbeck requested to have his membership removed and no longer wants anything to do with IAP. We are sorry to have him make this decision but it was his choice solely. IAP certainly does not discourage anyone from purchasing from him if they choose.
 
I've not used AS yet, I'm sure I will in the future, but have placed 2 orders with Ernie (and a third one in the works), and have been very pleased with the prices, service, and especially the speed of responses and shipping.

Too bad Mr. Baumbeck has disassociated himself with the IAP. Wonder why...Oh well, regardless, I'll continue to order from him as I've had nothing but great experiences in working with his company...I'll probably also be placing an order soon with Beartooth woods as I've not ordered from him yet and want to give him a try...!! Heard many many great things about his company too!
