I was watching the newest episode of American Restoration yesterday. If you get a chance to watch it, it's the one where they restore an old baseball game. I never saw a game like that, but it was really cool to see and learn about. Apparently the game originally used a small wooden baseball but the ball went missing so it was replaced with a metal ball. The bat in the machine really launches the baseball fast, like a gun. All the baseball players were missing body parts and heads from being hit with the ball, looked like someone took a machine gun to the inside of the game. When they show you how they duplicate the baseball players, you'll see they make a duplicate model of the originals best they can, adding the missing features and then mold cast the new parts with Alumilite. Pretty fun to watch, even though they don't show you every detail, they show enough for a person to understand.
