Baseball bat pens

At our last Richmond penturners meeting, I challenged the club members to come up with some baseball bat pens which will be the theme for our November meeting. Here are three that I came up with - a desk pen, a dip pen and a 7mm twist. Main wood is from a piece of sitka spruce I had in the shop. Total cost for all three is around $5 for those who want to have fun and avoid the cost of kits.

All great looking pens. Now, if Richmond had a 'real' baseball team you could add logos to those beauties. Flying Squirrels? :biggrin::biggrin: I chuckle each time I pass the Diamond on my way to visit my daughter. I do miss the R-Braves.

Very nice Bruce.
I made some similar, only pencils, for my grandchildren. They were a big hit.
