I've got some nice Maple burl that I want to cast but I'm not doing well on removing the bark first. Is there an easy way to do this??

I lay mine out on the driveway, fire up the pressure washer with my most powerful tip, and blast away. It works pretty good. If you don't have one, offer a pen to someone that could do it for you! Hope this helps!

It's easy when it's green, but after a while it really sticks. Then it might get loose from wood movement and age. Try hitting the bark with a hammer to loosen the bond. The inner bark may stick, but a dental pic will help scrape that off.
