I wanted a small piece of 1/2" MDF to make some additional inserts for my drill press table. The insert is less than 4" x 8".
I went to my local "orange" big box to purchase a 24" x 48" piece. Their price or the quarter sheet was $9.00!
To top it off, they were out of the 1/2" size. :frown:
Then I had the idea of checking the cull bin in the back of the store. There I found a 14" x 73" piece with a few dinks in it. So, I purchased the cull piece.
Then back to the shop to cut the incerts. I have cut 13 incerts, so far, and still have half of the piece left.
Oh, the price of the cull piece with tax: $0.56 :biggrin::biggrin: Less than a buck at the orange box and I was out the door. Amazing!!!
