Segmenting Bandsaw Blades?

I just got my Wen band saw. I would love to know what blades you guys recommend for making smooth cuts. Hopefully using this to start making segmented blanks and such. The blade that came with is a 7tpi 1/2 inch. It takes a 62" blade.

Great to know about them, but I am looking for advice on which blade to get for the smoothest cut. I will probably buy from them. Any opinions on the blade itself? More teeth less teeth? Hooked, normal?

A general rule is...the more teeth...the smoother the cut. I use mostly a 1/4" wide blade.

If you need info on blades contact timberwolf, tell them what kind of wood (green/dry) thickness, and they will recommend what style blade to use
