My wife is a breast cancer survivour--8 years cancer free. She went for her routine mamogram last Thursday and they called her Friday morning telling her she needed to go for further tests Friday afternoon. Scared the he## out of both of us.Of course you don't get any results on a Friday afternoon, so we spent a looong weekend worrying. Today the Doctor called and all is fine. WHAT a RELIEF.

Great News!! I am a 1 year survivour. Esphageal Cancer. Walking in my first Relay For Life in 2 weeks. Along with alot of my family.
I always get my results about an hour after my tests. And that seems like along time.
Again glad to here the news.

Wow Drs. are cruel sometimes. Glad everything is fine & dandy with you both!

That is about as ignorant a statement as I have seen. Perhaps all tests should be scheduled for Monday mornings so as to avoid waiting. Some tests, like the ones my son is undergoing for lymphoma cannot be completed in a few moments.
