Ok, so I just got off of the phone with my gold plater - who is returning my whole glass order unplated just before a fairly large show this weekend.
The plater has known about the order for over a week, and just decided to get to it today at 4 pm (we were supposed to pick it up tonight or tomorrow). He decided that he did not want to do it and wanted to start his holiday early.[:0][:0][:0][:0]
Needless to say there will be several $$$$ of lost sales because of this - not to mention tons of hours of prep work for naught. This is NOT the first time he has messed up - but will hopefully be the last.
So guys (and gals), any of you do plating, or know of a small gold plating house in the Midwest (preferably Chi area) looking for work???? I need to solve this before the Christmas season gets into full swing.
