first casting in a couple months it seems.

With my fresh batch of resin in, it was time.

1) String Theory 2.0 (still not completely satisfied, but close)
2) First try at a solid color blank with the West Systems Resin. 6" True Blue PearlEx. The heat made the casting tubes deform a bit so they aren't perfectly straight, but at 1" who cares.
3) Opal FX sierras from the last batch that I ran out of resin to cast.

Tonight..... Another experiment in solid color.

Need to stop by one of my supply stores for some other stuff to experiment with.

Next batch is ready.

Block on the right is the next (and most successful to date) String Theory Micarta Block. Used Burgundy Yarn and need to drill and tuen a piece to see how it looks once its thinned down. Some nice color when you look through the edges though.

Next is three from the day before yesterday. Nice Translucent Red but I didn't get all the powder to mix in.

On the far right (inspired from one of our own) Gold leaf blanks. Came out really well.

Next to them is a Translucent blue with a few of the gold flecks. The powder die was completely mixed here.

And in the middle is the same Translucent Blue with Gold Interference PearlEx added.
