I've been a little bit MIA this week while my sister's been in town from Seattle. Dropped her off at the airport today, we had a great time this week, it was nice to have family around. She turned a few pens that I'll post in SOYP later. We had a lot of fun looking at all of your work while I showed her around the site, and she spent a lot of time going through the SOYP archive and albums. She took to pen turning like a fish in water. :)

It was really neat to be able to step back and see someone experience IAP for the first time! I get so wrapped up in doing my thing it's easy to forget what a wealth of knowledge this place is for people new to turning.

I'm back on track in production! :D I'm still playing with the experimental format for the business listings, and that takes some extra time, but I should have some blanks listed in a while. I have a few new resin designs that I'll be offering. I've also got some catching up to do for a few of you, should be shipping every thing out on Monday. [8D]

Good for you karl. Reminds me of when my youngest son was here and turned a couple of things. Fun to teach and watch them develop. He is like me, picks stuff up real quick.
Glad you had a nice visit. We have other family coming in a few weeks ourselves.

Ah reckon this here'll be one of the big blank drives of '08.

Welp, I better get back after it...they's a stray gone and hung itself up in some air hoses...hyah!
