Well, I'm now officially a member of the CABG club. My operation went very well despite the fact that the surgeon found things to be a littte worse than what the evidence had presented.
despite feeling so much better I now have to take it easy and folloow a strict recovery regime for the next 3 months plus.
I won't be able to touch the larhe for 3 MONTHS!! and I've forgotten
how to knit!!!
Once again thanks to all who wished me well. I hope touhave all had a great Christmas and are preparing for a great year of turning.
I've looked through the forums and put in a few posts but i found myself getting tired.
Congratulations on all those pens and other works that have been posted. As always the wormanship is wonder ad some of the items are stunning

Here's wishing you a full recovery Arthur! OK, I'll bite. What's the CABG club?

The CABG, also sometimes referred to as "cabbage", stands for Coronary Bypass operation. My wife had one, a triple bypass, unexpectedly two years ago. Recovered very well, however, they send her home with an infected leg wound (where they harvested the arteries for the operation) and this took a good 6-8 weeks to properly heal.

Coronary Artery Bypass Graph. My doctor told me full recovery takes from 8 to 12 weeks. Do what your doctor suggests but after about six weeks I could not stand not turining something on the lathe :)
