I have a lot of it. It turns and cuts just like Corian. I have some other solid surface from another man. and it has fiberglass in it.
 
Rob, thats the stuff! I couldn't remember the name of it. It is similiar to Corian, but is a little more brittle and smells of soap when turning. It polishes like Corian. I've made numerous pens from it and as long as you drill slow you shouldn't have any problems.
 
I have used it and it seems similar to corian. Though to my observation, it cracks easier. Use a real sharp bit and go slower that corian.
