Gidgee pen blanks from Australia! The Chatoyancy on these is amazing! These are rough on the tools but beautiful once turned. Even what I'm calling "low" figure still has curls in it! See photos of examples of each "grade". Over 25 of each grade available.

Shipping is from my house here in NY - depends on weight and I use the cheapest shipping possible.

Coming in at 4,200 on the Janka harness scale! It is one of the hardest woods in the world. Compare to the following woods.
Black Walnut comes in at 1,000
Hickory comes in at 1800
Ipe comes in at 3600

G'day mate Gidgee is an awesome timber. I have also heard of Purple Gidgee and have a couple. Not sure what the difference is.
