I was just looking through my first issue of WOODTURNING DESIGN MAGAZINE and saw a full page ad for Augum's Pen Works in OK. I don't recall ever seeing anyone mention these folks before. They appear to be PSI resellers.

Have anyone ever dealt with this vendor??

I bought some of the pen briefcases off of them earlier this year when they had a sweet deal on them. When I got them one was comming apart at the seams. when I contacted them, I got a quick and just solution. They promptly sent out a new one and told me to send the old one int the box with the prepaid label they sent. this was my only dealing with them but was quite happy with their service.

I just took a few minutes to check out their web site and was happy to note that CSUSA and Berea have some new competition. This is the opening line of their home page:

Augumspenworks, leading manufacutrer[sic] of wood pen kits, pen making tools, woodworking supplies and all type of woodturning pen kits.

I wonder if this guy sells used cars in his spare time??

I dealt with these folks last year, because I needed a PSI item that was out of stock EVERYWHERE, including PSI. These people had a decent stock of the item, took my order for what I needed, shipped it QUICK, and bailed me out at a time when no one else was able to. I don't use a lot of PSI stuff at this point, but if I do, Augum's is one place I wouldn't be shy to turn to; but, of course, there are others, as well.

I should be recieving my lastest order from them today, I ordered 4 pieces of the predrilled antler, and some display stands I have not seen anywhere else.

the first time I used them was around xmas of last year, and got great service each time

I haven't used them in over a year and a half. They were changing their inventory around and charged more for shipping so they dropped off my radar for stuff. I never had a problem with them when I did order from them though.

I bought 6 pen cases from them, looked fine. Also received their catalog in the mail. They have their own line that is cheaper but I haven't bought any yet.

I can honestly say their service is definitely top-notch. I have used them a few times. I would guess that their own brand stuff is the rhizeng kits and I was not impressed with them. They are very friendly and worth a look although I've been using woodnwhimsies for my PSI items.
